Can't receive text messages

Hi, came back from holiday yesterday and my xperia z downloaded lollipop upgrade to 5.0.2 Now I can't receive sms texts from anyone. Phone worked perfectly well before, was receiving texts abroad too. On contract with Vodafone, have tried every suggestion on their site, ie resetting, changing to new network and changing back, rebooting phone, nothing works. Seen on this site to wait 30 minutes for the texts to come through, but this doesn't work either, the texts just don't come through, but the texts I send are getting through. Please help, must emphasise the phone worked perfectly until this upgrade. Thanks.

@Tony70

Are you using a third party messaging? are those MMS or regular SMS? are the messages sent through an iPhone?

Thanks for replies so far, in reply,

Cleared the app, didn't make a difference

Tried in safe mode, didn't work

It's sms, not through iPhone

Please help! Many thanks

Hi Tony70, welcome to the community!

I agree with @uliwooly - follow his advice and keep us updated. If the software repair doesn't help I would reccommend contacting the Sony Xperia Customer Care team in your region (click the link in my signature for details). Slightly_smiling_Face
