Blluetooth connection problem after updating to lollipop

I'm a t_mobile z3 user. I could connect my car blutooth before updating to lollipop. However, the phone is not able to find my car's blutooth anymore. I tried my another phone, and it can connect with my car. Therefore, I assume it's the update's problem.

This has been asked before, it seems to be lollipop itself.

Hi 354278060327727, welcome to the community!

Perhaps try clearing the data for Bluetooth & Smart Connect, just go into Settings > Apps > All > scroll down to the app > tap the app & then tap Clear data. Now restart the phone & see whether or not your car bluetooth appears under available devices. If it still doesn't, you could try running a software repair on the phone to see whether that helps.

Note: a software repair deletes all user data, to back up data beforehand just press Start under Backup & Restore - the instructions will be on screen.

Running the software repair on PC Companion:
1. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
2. Phone Software Update.
3. Start.
4. Repair Phone
5. Continue
6. Accept data removal
7. Next
8. Wait for prepare
9. Select Phone
10. Follow the connection steps

Let us know whether this helped or not, I do hope it does.
