Normally,a new device will need some time until the battery will behave normally. It will learn your usage pattern. Try to charge it for about 2 weeks normally (don't let it discharge completely) and see how it is.
It also depends on your usage. When you have a lot of apps running in the background (like messenger services, or location services), it's normal that your battery takes a hit.
