Hi JBK,
Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
I have just tested the file for you, I have not been able to replicate the issue. I do suggest following the instructions supplied by Uliwooly above.
I am sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.
I am having the same message this morning when trying to download PC Companion through Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox.
Hi, I received the same error message yesterday and today using both Safari and Chrome. Would suggest there is an issue there. Thanks.
Hi,
Same problem here with anoter software. Unable to download PC Companion. I got similar 404 error as OP.
Tried from several browsers, computers and OSes (Linux, Mac, Windows).
It looks like there is something wrong. I am really curious how the tech from Sony could get a working download, unless there is some kind "internal networking" involving. Meaning he can get the file from inside Sony offices. If thats so, it would have been smarter to test the link from a customer point of view.
I have the same issue when trying to download PC Companion with Chrome. Not tried any other browsers but, from the above posts, it doesn't appear to be a browser issue
Hi,
I'm also experiencing the same problem.
Brand new MacBook Pro, tried on Chrome and Safari.
Please can advise when this issue is likely to be fixed.
Many thanks,
I'm having the same issue
Your web front end is barfing cause it can't find the file back end.
Here's the actual error message (duh people, give him something to work with more than "errr, computer bad, fix me!")

What mystifies me is that the standards for allowing USB devices to connect as external storage is basic basic first principles stuff... WHY would you _require_ a bridge application for something that is built into all OSs and USB devices from day one... it's just adding a layer of complexity that can (and obviously does, cite today) fail.
/boggle.
I think the term is: "stealing defeat from the jaws of victory".
