How can I place memory card into xperia xa2?
It's next to the Sim. You have to use your nail to pull out the little plastic tray to insert the micro SD card.
Hi @Jana4, welcome to our forum!
On the links below you can see how you can insert both a SIM card and a SD card in your Xperia XA2!
Single SIM version: https://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/xperiaxa2/userguide/assembly-ss-content/
Dual SIM version: https://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/xperiaxa2/userguide/assembly-ds-content/
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks for your response, and sorry for me saying this, but the figure is extremely unuseful. For example, it does not show at all that you have to use your nails, couradge and scisors (as I did) to take out the trail for the memory card. It is a very bad solution, but I would appreciate if it is at least said openly: taking out the memory card holder is a terrible task, and cannot be done without using some sharp instrument, hopefully nails, but in case of short nails, something sharp. To me, this looks anything but safe solution how to get memory card into your phone, but I have not seen any other more sophisticated approach. Does it exist? Did I miss some miracle button to push that would expel the memory card holder? I spent yesterday two hours on this - and it was not fun. What a pitty - such a nice phone, such unclear set of instructions.
Nope, no other solution other then using you nail or some object. It's a bad design. Like I said in my other posts, I had half the price cheaper phone then sony, and their designs were way better. Very often the price does not reflect the quality of a product...
Hi again!
@Jana4, I understand your frustration!
I have short nails so it's a bit tricky to take out the SD card holder / SIM card holder for me as well and I usually use the tip of a pen, so it's not an object that is too sharp so the device can be damaged in any way. Once the SIM card(s)/SD card(s) are in place, at least I very rarely remove them once they are in place, however I will make sure to forward your feedback on how the SIM/SD card trays are designed and how you remove them/insert them again in the device.
@RE1281, I'll make sure to forward your feedback on this as well!
Thank you both for the feedback and have a nice day!

Hi Jonas! Glad to see you here, but what about the "Hot" topics? i mean the Proximity-sensor-issue-during-call or the Video-recording-sound-quality i mean u guys know about it, hope are working on it and know something about Android 8.1? its big update in term of perfomance
I agree, it's a terrible design and very fragile. Mine has broken and the phone is only a couple months old. It broke only the second time I took the SD card out.
