Known Issues so far

3 Months of using this and most of the bugs are still there

These are the bugs:

1.] Camera app sometimes shows a unknown error

2.] Phone randomly freezes sometimes

3.] Still now RAW support, please sony, just add it (By that i mean full or limited mode of the camera2api)

4.] Both wifi and cellular drop from 3 bars to 1 bar sometimes.

5.] Wifi randomly disconnects.

6.] Overheating issues, possible solution- slow down the cpu clock when it reaches a certain level of degrees. Camera produces heat really quickly.

 (battery wasn't charging, just some regular 1080p30fps filming)

 7.] Camera's color tone goes to greenish in low light however it can be adjusted via brightness and color adjustments (hope it would do that automatically)

8.) Bluetooth issues (added by @Pol63)

10.] Battery percentage sometimes drops in a 2% adjustments(example: instead of going from 25 to 24, it goes from 25 to 23 skipping a percentage)

 9.) Sometimes the mobile data signal just completely drops out (reported by other users)

11.) Not all calls received (reported by other users)

Wherer u buy the phone, u try whith another carrier if the option appear?

I can confirm that BL unlock does not change the camera at all..

Camera is important for me and I have missed so many good moments because when I open the Camera and press shoot button, camera app show some error and closes the camera. And this happens seriously waaaay too often.

Sony, seriously, fix this.

I have to use Open Camera app to make sure i wont miss my moments. It just works always. It is also better for naming files. There wont be files with the same name.

Too many issues for me. Going back to my XA1, which doesn't seem much slower after using the XA2 for a couple weeks. At least you can transfer apps to the SD card on the XA1, and it has the same camera. Good luck! I have a feeling this is my last Sony - too many weird bugs.

Camera error

 I get these camera errors too often... Why can't you fix software since opencamera app works like charm..

They should also hurry up with the updates, when i went into the security settings today the security version status was orange, ao sony please, faster updates, and maybe those scenes

My phone is shutting off a couple of times per day and i can't turn it on just when I plug in the charger. Battery levels are fine.

Probaly a defective battery 🤷
