I have a number of apps in my Google play library, how can I put them on my main screen

Are you referring to apps installed on your device 

or

Playstore > swipe left to right > my apps > installed apps?

What the above person is asking is why can't we download all our previous apps on to this device. And it appears that the answer is because the device only has 22g of memory dedicated for internal storage. My wife just hit that wall after one month of ownership. Now I'm considering returning/ exchanging it now.
