WH-1000XM4 Sound Leakage

I bought the WH-1000 Xm4 headphones yesterday and as I was listening to music my friend informed me that she could hear my music quite clearly and I had the volume quite low at this point so I was concerned that she could hear it. I tried the headphones on her while she listens to music to see if I could hear any sound leaking too, and I could hear it easily even though the volume was not even that high. Does anyone else have this problem? Did i receive a faulty pair?

Hi,

It's normal to have sound leakage from any headphones when you're listening to something on high volume for example but, with an acceptable amount of leakage of course. Also, it depends if you're in a quite place or you have some background noise.

One of the thing that make a difference as well, is waring the headset with a proper way, take a look on the instructions here
