I've had my XM4s for about 7 months now. They have worked almost flawlessly apart from this odd issue that started a few days ago. The headphones seem to charge normally and I still get many hours of usage, so the battery seems ok. I wondered if it was some kind of calibration issue. I was able to run them for 2 full days until they shut themselves down the other day. I then charged them up fully and I'm still getting 10%. Obviously this is annoying because it shuts off the touchpad as part of battery saving, and every time I turn them on it tells me to recharge.
I've tried resetting, initializing, reinstalling the app, connecting to different devices, trying different chargers etc. No luck. I am prepared to send them off to the repair centre, but I've never done this before and wonder if somehow it will end up blamed on me and being costly. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
I think this is a case where you need to go to the service center ...
Hey @Jimbob7595, I think you have to get in touch with the Sony support line first to confirm the issue with them and if possible check on your warranty conditions.
