Since purchase, it happens that the sound stops approximately every fifteen minutes for half a second before it continues again. It happens both when they are connected to my phones or PC. Does anyone know if anything can be done. Unfortunately, they are so old that the warranty is not valid

Have you tried resetting them or restoring them to factory settings to see if that helps?

Since the issue happens with multiple devices, then it will need a service. Are you based in the UK or Ireland?
