I'm a Linux user who has just bought the NW-A105 and it's great so far.
Is there a way to enable MTP mode on the player? It's great that I can drag and drop files directly to player but I want to be able to use software like Rhythmbox to manage the music library as I already have a bunch of playlists that I want to sync to it.
I should add that when I connect it to my computer via usb the only options I'm given are "File Transfer" and "No data transfer". Also the filesystem is listed as mtpfs.
I've tried enabling Developer Mode and usb debugging but no luck either. Curiously I can see a system app called MTP Host but no idea how to "enable" or use it. Has Sony disabled mtp mode?
Hi fallcups, there's no mention of the MTP on any manual what so ever, but here's what I know.. Sony software doesn't support Linux .
