Hey everyone,
I had to do a systems recovery on my pc last night and this morning i realised that the bluetooth hardware seems to have dissapeared.i checked the webiste for preinstalled drivers etc but there was nothing about a bluetooth one, but im SURE my laptop had one to begin with. Any ideas? Thanks
Hi Glitterati,
According to the Specs your S4XP does have bluetooth..
Have you tried turning bluetooth on, see below..
I am having exactly the same problem. I have tries to disable then enab;e the blutooth and nothing happens. When I click on the 'Turn on discovery' I keep getting an error message.
Please help.
That's odd!
Looking in the Original Drivers Pack for the S-Series there is no Bluetooth Driver - I wonder if it is in the Original Utilities Download. Unfortunately the Utilities are not named individually so I can't tell.
Have you carried out a Recovery using the Sony Recovery Discs to the original Operating System or have you installed a retail copy?
I can find the Bluetooth® Stack Driver by Toshiba for the S-Series on the Sony USA download site but I have no idea if it will install on your model.
