MY PCG-K415B

My lap top has been awy with Sony for repair,I want to check the memory installed, I had previously increased this from 512 to 1024, where can I find the info telling me if tyhis is stiil the case/
I also had my C & D drives combined they are now separate again, is there any benefits having these combined and how I set about doing this.
Would appreciate help and advise.

Right-click on my computer and click properties. This will show you the amount of RAM you have.

Not sure what you mean about having them combined because you don't have SATA so it can't be the RAID configuration.

Hi SIGM,

There are benefits to be gained in having a partitioned drive..

For example if you store your personal data, pictures, etc. on the D drive and a problem occurs with the operating system, the C drive can just be recovered, by following this guide, therefore hopefully, leaving your personal files on the D drive intact..

You can repartition your drive if you wish by using either the Vaio recovery utiltity guide , at number 10 select C & D Drive Recovery (Change Partition Sizes) or there are third party programs such as Paragon Partition Manager ..
