Hi all
Having a little bit of trouble with temperatures on my AR-31S.
I am using CoreTemp found Here
and am getting 60 degrees results on both cores, sometimes pushing 70.
I have also used speedfan found Here and that returns only a core 0 and core 1 temp of around 45 degrees.
PCWizard found Here returns more alarming results found below....
It really is very hot at the back of my machine. Has anyone else had this problem?
Softie. You’ll be acting like a Southerner next and whingeing on about not wanting to take your vest off until there’s no more frost on the inside of the windows in the mornings.
Wow you take your vest's off...

LOL
LOL

Think Seb has a point, that they do run hot in such a space.
Hey everyone, OMG its been ages since I've been on here
This is kinda making me panic now because I just ordered my vaio ar41m from eatay.com, It caught my eye due to the 8400m graphics card, its a realllllll bigggg jump from the last vaio I had, Vgn-A517s with a rubbish graphics card lol. Anyway would this be bad for me when im running heavy games like World of Warcraft or Battlefield 2? Thats the only reason why I chose this laptop but im now worried now that I've seen everyones results
I thought something funny was up when I saw this picture of the Ar series online with the air vents because usally most laptops would have their own dedicated cpu fan

We are complaining about high temperatures that the core2duo processors produce but spare a thought for the Mac users with the old PowerPC processors.
This article says the the Core2Duo processors run much cooler than they used to!

Lol I bet the AR Series runs smoothly without any fans with its no fan what-so-ever technology®.....
where not only it warms up your hands but burns out your cpu...... :smileylaugh:.......I bet even the Ram dimms get more air.

How did that notebook get soo damaged?
Someone set fire to it!
Don't really blame them really because it is an ugly notebook. :smileytalk_to_the_hand:
If you are posting because of high temperatures just be glad it doesn't look like that^!
