High Temperatures

Hi all

Having a little bit of trouble with temperatures on my AR-31S.

I am using CoreTemp found Here

and am getting 60 degrees results on both cores, sometimes pushing 70.

I have also used speedfan found Here and that returns only a core 0 and core 1 temp of around 45 degrees.

PCWizard found Here returns more alarming results found below....

It really is very hot at the back of my machine. Has anyone else had this problem?

At least I'm not alone with the crazy GPU temp.

Wouldnt the GPU temp increase if you were actually working on something graphically heavy.... because mine has only been reunning itunes n Windows live messenger since 1pm

I played some HL2 a couple of hours ago but even then 4 1/4 billion degrees seems a little excessive :smileyhypnotized:

I presume that the processor temperature is the "Chip" temperature. If so, then I would not say that 60-70 was excessive. I once had a Toshiba Satellite which ran that temperature on the outside of the box, which meant that the chip Temp was very high.

BTW I measured the temperature by sticking T-sensitive labels on the laptop. You can get them from RS.

Mine seems to have calmed a little, but is still higher than Rich and Thal's

Edit: The effort of posting this has raised both cores to 61% LOL

Hi Jumpy,

Glad I had a day off yesterday while you were all worrying about temperatures.

I'll have a look ar the AR later 'cos I'm on the Desktop at the moment - The RC102 seems to run at 50 deg:
