Hi guys, wondering if you could help me on this one, I bought a new graphics card for my PCV-RX402 and when i installed the drivers for it the system wouldnt start up ?, A mate said its conflicting with my old drivers, how do i solve this ? Please.....
hi you have the same pc as mine
have you uninstalled the old graphics card ?
if its not letting the pc start up did you check what size of power supply your new card needs as the power pack might not handle it
Brian
No guarantees on this but worth a try. Start up in safe mode and, using
Device Manager, uninstall all display adaptors. Restart and let Windows `discover¿ the graphics card and either install the drivers automatically or insert the driver disk when prompted. Restart in normal mode and see if all is OK.
Hey Bri LTNS,
As they others have said make sure the old card is properly uninstalled before putting the new one in.
