Digital tuner for V2M

Hi folks...anyone know if its possible to replace the analogue TV tuner installed in a VGC-V2M with a digital version. Currently have a Hauppauge Dec2000-t hooked up to it but obviously the Vaio Zone does not recognise it and its a bit of a pain.

Nope it's not possible, you're best using Haupagge's software, much better than VAIO Zone

I don't think you can update anything in V2 except for increasing the memory

OK thanks for the advice ....actually while hunting around on Sony support pages since I posted this I found an item which suggests connecting up a Freeview (Haauppage in my case)box to the V2M via a Scart to RCA plug cable and to select Video Channel on the Vaio Zone. Cheers:smileyhappy:

Yeah that's one way of doing it, but it means you have to buy the more expensive box to do this job.
