Why does the Red Rec button not work when I as m labelling track numbers should it say something on the Display on CD Recorder?
If you're performing a Synchro-recording, you won't be able to label while recording.
Also, track length must be at least 4 seconds before labelling manually while recording.

Did you make sure that you're not performing Synchro-recording when trying to press the record button while labelling a track?
