SONY MHC-V11
Hello, I wonder if anyone can help me today.
I have the Sony HMC-V11 speaker system and I accidentally spilled beer onto the speaker grid when moving it for a party. Does anybody know how to take off this metal cage so I can clean it? I unscrewed all of the screws around the unit but there seems to be no clear way just to remove the grid. Thanks!

Hi @Mitch_Help_Me_Now and welcome to the Community
The classic beer in the speaker trick?
We've all done it
Unfortunately I can't find any assembly details for your system.
I think the best idea is to give Sony Support a call +44 (0) 2073652810
(You don't want to void your warranty by dismantling it,
especially if its not designed to be removed.)
Let us know how you get on.

Thank you for the response!
I already took the screws off so will this break the warranty?
As this is accidental damage and doesn't technically need a repair, just a clean with a wet-wipe, does anybody know how to just remove is easily?
I just don't want it to be so sticky on the the insides anymore

You're welcome
Some companies use warranty void if removed stickers, I don't know if your model has one.
I really would check details with Sony Support.
(Depending on their news - Edit your posts )
Again I think they may be the best resource for speaker grill removal info.
