B@O H9 Headphones
Not happy. Spoke to Sony because all the forums just seem to be guessing and no definitive answers. Sony say my tv does not support the particular Bluetooth format on the headphones. They say there may be a solution in the future but don’t know if it’s software upgrades or a new TV job. GREAT. Well done Sony on your brand new 2020 models disappoint!

We understand about the headphone, but which tv model are you talking about?

I have your PM reply. That is what Sony said. Instead of putting Bluetooth 4.2 or what ever they need to make it clear what won’t work. Thank you for confirming what Sony said. I was hoping you had a fix.
nevermind.

@Rainbows2020. it is not a questione related to bt version (also because any newer release is backward compatible), your tv does not have the right profile for audio. And indeed I suggested you a workaround, installing an app you can find on play store (see one of the related messages https://community.sony.it/t5/android-tv/connecting-sennheisser-bluetooth-headphones-to-kd-49xf8096/m... )
