It is the Sigma f/1.4 50mm HSM lens compatible with the Sony A6300?
Hi!
Yes, when using the LA-EA3 A-mount adaptor.
Taking the price for adaptor and lens into account I would recommend this lens:

If your lens is this: http://www.sigma-global.com/en/lenses/cas/product/art/a_50_14/, you can also use:
http://www.sigma-global.com/en/lenses/cas/product/accessories/mount-converter/
The new MOUNT CONVERTER MC-11 allows you to use your SIGMA SA mount and SIGMA EOS mount interchangeable lenses with the Sony E-mount camera body.

Hi, but this appears only to be for 35mm? http://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/converters-mount-adapters/la-ea3
Thanks but that doesn't really help because I don't understand all of it. I'm not technically savvy when it comes to cameras.
Ok, at link the difference beetwin the LA-EAx adapter, LA-EA1 and LA-EA2 are for APS-C sensors, like A6300, LA-EA3 and LA-EA4 are for Full Size (35 mm) sensors, lik the A7...
All adapters are compatible with ILCE-6300, the difference are explanated at link.
If your Sigma Lens is "A-Mount" (Sony/Minolta AF Mount) you can use one of that LA-EAx adapters...
If your Sigma Lens is SA Mount (Sigma) or EOS Mount (Canon) you can use the SIGMA MOUNT CONVERTER MC-11:
https://www.sigmaphoto.com/mount-converter-mc-11
Even, you can use the Mount Conversion Service:

Sorry for my poor english...
