Sony A7ii restarts when pressing shutter release button.

Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a great summer.

I have a question for those that uses A7 series.

My Sony A7ii is acting strange. When I'm pressing the shutter release button the camera goes black, restarts and jumps back to the moment it was powered on. If I have change any settings, the settings goes back to the same setting when it was powered on. Any ideas anyone? Thx

I have seen this mentioned before & from memory those a7II's required a repair..

If you are still within guarantee contact the retailer or Sony support..

Oh god no! Not repair. I have Heard how terribe son services are not to mention sony center in sweden closed for like a year ago. I think my 1 year guarantee ended also for 2 month ago.

Hi,

have you checked that you are running the latest updates for both lens & camera??

If you are out of guarentee you could try asking a local repair specialist for an opinion & quote for repair??
