software to allow download of Images and video from A7iv

Hi following on from my recent post regards downloads. I have some questions regards interface between camera and laptop when downloading data from my in camera memory card'

Thank you for the previous reply.

1. I can download Raw/Jpeg using DCIM

2. The video data does not download but able to view on camera using camera play back

3. On my previous A6400 i was able to link up to play memories to download all from my memory card

4. Play memories is not compatable with the A7iv

5. My A7iv is running on the latest issue of firmware 2.00

6. Will my camera automatically link to Image edge desktop to enable download from memory card to computer?

7. Is there other Sony computer software that should be loaded to enable seamless communication between   camera and computer.

8. I have no problem at present running my stills through DCIM into a folder, using DNG convert and then lightroom to finally process, it is just the missing link for the video download.

9. The current memory card is Sandisk extreme 64GB (3) MicroV30sd XC1 and no message when videoing.

10. I have deleted Play memories home from my computer.

11. At present I am sure it will turn out to be a simple thing that needs to be implemented? as there are many people out there using this camera without this isuue.

12. Any help would be appreciated as whilst I love the results compared to my A6400 its starting to become irritating.

Hey there buddy, I just replied to you on the other post XD. 
But here goes nothing, It's not going to be in the same file list, have you checked all the USB files? Videos are usually in a completely different folder. 
It's better to use imaging edge, or the new app, Creator's cloud app. Or, just take the SD card out and use a card reader, or directly if you have a full size SD slot in the unit you're using.
