PlayMemories application Windows 8.1 tablet version

There is http://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/www/disoft/int/playmemories-mobile/en/index.html link to download Windows Store application. The application is supposed to run on a Windows 8.1 tablet (according the picture) with x64 processor.

I have such tablet but it does not install with error message: The application is not available for your PC. What are the exact system requirements? Isn't the detection wrong ?

being a frustrated user as well I discovered, that the PlayMemories application for Windows 8.1 (64bit) (so a real PC) works (=can be downloaded from the Store) only on Sony PCs... like the Vaio Duo 13 with i7 processor... strange, uh?

The "M2 Sony Camera Remote", which is not officially Sony , works but is crappy...

Thanks, why there is such limitation ? Is the Android application also locked to Sony hardware only ?

I am looking for photos transfer from the camera to a Windows 8.1 tablet via wifi. The remote app is for camera control.
