Wipe Cache Partition

Hi All,

Have a few issues with 0B files showing in the downloads folder, that cannot be deleted.

I've tried the usual solutions (SD maid, renaming a file the same and delting that, refresh, hard reset) but cannot get rid.

Would like to wipe the cache partition, but it seems there is no recovery mode anymore in the Xperia (even using the ADB de-bugging).

How can this be done?

You can't access the Recovery with Keys, but You can try to use fastboot.

Just do: adb reboot bootloader and use fastboot. (Not sure about this on Locked Bootloaders)
Back in time it was "fastboot erase cache" like "fastboot erase userdata" or "fastboot erase system"

For a complete cleanup are newer Devices using "fastboot -w"

Hope that helped a bit...

Might I suggest to head on to XDA forum for more help and information regarding this.
