Xperia Z5 Dual "mobile network not available" error

Hello everyone,

My Xperia Z5 Dual phone was unable to make a call or mobile connection for 3 or 4 days. I am sure that there is no problem with the SIM card. I've tried many of the recommended solutions on Google, but I still get a "no service" message.

Here are the solutions I've already tried;

- Network settings reset

- preferred network type changed to 4.5G/3G/GSM

- Factory Reset

- Repair with Xperia Companion

However, none of them didn't work. Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi @aslankaraaslan, sorry to hear about this. Slightly_frowning_Face

Based on the troubleshooting you have already done, it does sound like it's related to hardware rather than software, but there are some more things that you can try.

Is the SIM card(s) detected by the device, for example, do you need to enter the PIN code for your SIM card(s) when starting up the device? If you have that enabled. If they are detected, try doing a network search in Settings > More > Mobile networks > Network operator and see if any networks can be found.

You can also try with a different SIM card if you can borrow one from a friend, colleague or family member, just to make sure that the neither of the SIM cards are the cause.

Let me know how it goes!

Hi @Jonas,

Thanks for your interest and sorry for my late reply.

I had tried the solutions you mentioned, but unfortunately, the problem is still continuing. When I search for network operators in this way (Settings> Other> Mobile networks>), sometimes other operators appear but my own operator cannot be found. And sometimes no operator can be found.

Furthermore, my phone does not see another SIM card and my SIM card is working on other phones.

In fact, sometimes the phone works perfectly for 1-2 hours or 1-2 days. But now the problem is still present.

If this is a hardware problem, which parts of the hardware (antennas, battery...) can cause this problem? May I ask you to give me an idea about this?

Hi again @aslankaraaslan and sorry to hear that there has been no change. Slightly_frowning_Face

It's hard to say exactly which part(s) needs to be changed and since I'm not trained technician, I'm not trained in examining devices and so forth. The best option is to get in touch with your Local support team so they can either arrange a repair for you, or if there are any authorized service centres where you live, that you can visit.

Feel free to keep me posted!
