Sent my xz in for repair as the phone had stopped working completely, I assumed it was water damaged as I had taken it in the pool on holiday, it was there 8 days before they sent me a quote for £337 saying the phone was economically unfixable and would need replacing, I asked why it wasn’t covered under warranty and they said it had a small scratch on the side, which wasn’t there when I sent it in, they emailed pictures claiming the pictures were taken on receiving the device at the repair centre on the 8/5/18, on closer inspection of the pictures the date clearly shows 15/5/18, a full 7 days later, a full 7 days of somebody messing with my phone, I believe it has been damaged in their care and they are using this as a excuse not to replace my water damaged waterproof phone, another point is the phone was originally booked in for a charging port repair, maybe this could of been the cause of the water getting in
