No locations indoors

I purchase Xperia XZ Premium recently. Everything works well except the location config. I noticed this problem since I'm an Ingress player.

The phone's location service works fine when outdoors. But when I am indoors, I noticed the difference: all other devices I used before, have no problem opening the game and playing as usual, but XZ Premium can't.

I asked some other users of XZ1C, XZ1 and XZ Premium, they told me that it works fine before upgrading to Android 8.0 , but having problem in Android 8.0 .

I think, this problem is due to the location accuracy config of the '/system/etc/gps.conf', since modifying it myself is not easy, for example unlocking the Xperia Phone may cause DRM problem and so on, I hope Sony can fix it.

Do you have location set to high accuracy?

It stands to reason you might suffer some GPS loss when indoors, especially when cloudy.

You can try flushing the GPS cache by holding the power button for 10 seconds until you feel 3 vibrations then powering the device back on, I have found this to work sometimes when Pokémon go can't find location when indoors.

There's no doubt that indoors, the GPS signal loss. However, that shouldn't be the reason that totally no location when indoors. I have asked a XZ1 user who had his phone unlocked and rooted to add "ENABLE_WIPER = 1" to "/system/etc/gps.conf", and it works good. By adding it, he can play the game indoors without problems. So, I hope Sony could make some adjust to the config of GPS to allow most users play the game indoors, not to adjust by ourselves. One reason I love this phone is, when outdoors, the location is more accurate than my old one, so I think this problem also should be solved.
