incoming calls and text messages problem?

When I'm called or messaged by certain numbers they don't get through to me. I can't seem to find why this is happening. When Google sends me a SMS it doesn't get through to me. My doctors can't get through to me and now iv tried to sign up to WhatsApp and they can't call or text me. Help. I have a xperia xz3

Did you go to the phone app and tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner.

There you will find settings.

Maybe somehow some blocking occured.

If that is clear then try your phone in safe mode.

In safe mode all self installed apps are excluded from starting up.

If everything is normal in safe mode then a 3rd party app is causing trouble on your phone.
