The extreme top of my screen is cluttered with icons that don't belong there and overlap the time and battery charge numbers .For example the icon for airplane mode is up there even tho it's not active

Hi @Donski, that sounds very strange and sorry to hear about this.

As @uliwooly mentioned, a screenshot would be great as I have not seen this kind of behaviour previously. You can take a screenshot if you press and hold the power button > tap on "Take screenshot".

You can also make sure that you have not accidentally set one of your screenshots as a background on your device, as this will make it look like you have overlapping icons in the status bar of the device.
