Had the XZ2 a couple of weeks now
When im on a voice call every few minutes the call drops for a few seconds and then comes back
Very annoying, and occurs on every call!!!!
Any ideas anyone?
I only have the same apps as I had on my Z5 Premium, and I need them all - ill try the safe mode, but if its an app conflict how do you ifentify that without trial and error? Which would be a nightmare adding one app at a time then making calls before adding another - and i need the apps i have for home security etc!!!
Surely it cant be that when the Z5 was fine?

I haven't seen a response from Sony staff as yet and have messaged a Sony support staff member directly for an update and am waiting for a reply
I pre ordered the xz2 which had this issue so I had a replacement which was the same. I'm currently on my third xz2 as of Saturday, and so far so good but have only made a handful of calls so far.
Very frustrating issue that Sony have not responded to as yet.
As your see in the thread I have linked I recommend a replacement. I have previously tried resetting the phone (xz premium) and repairing which did not resolve.

There's a main difference between Z5 and XZ2 which is the Android version, and that might cause compatibility issues with some apps that were fully compatible with Z5.
It's too early to talk in details, just test the safe mode first to see if it's a 3rd party app or not.
Just tried it in safe mode for a 30 minute conversation and still having the same problem so I don't think it's the apps
Looks like i might need to try a replacement phone?
