Z Tablet won't turn on after update

I've had my tablet for a number of months and have no problems. I updated the software yesterday, charged the tablet and turned it off because I was flying the next day and had a few films I wanted to watch. You can imagine my annoyance when I went to turn it on and nothing. Tried charging it and no lights. I tried all of the suggestions, holding up volume and power button and,also connecting it be pc companion but still absolutely nothing. I love Sony and have,a Sony tv, laptop, ps4 and phone so this has come as a massive disappointment. Please can anyone help.

Connect your tablet to a wall charger, press and hold power and volume up for 10 seconds, let it charge for two to three hours

Thank you both. I've tried plugging it into the wall and doing what you suggested but no joy 😞

Unfortunately, if you have charged the Tablet for a longer time but there are no reaction when trying to power it on, I suggest that you visit nearest service center to have your unit examined by a technician.

Thanks for the info. Believe it or not it has suddenly sparked back into life. I've had it on charge all morning again and I noticed a red charging light.

Glad to hear.  Was the battery completely flat?
