xperia Z3 heating issues

I gave my Xperia Z3 compact to my cousin which i bought a week ago. So, this time i thought of go n get the bigger one the Xperia Z3. Thinking that it has 3 GB RAM, big screen, more battery.

But what comes as a surprise to me is after updating the device to the latest software, the issues that i was facing with Z3 compact remain same with Xperia Z3 too.

Those issue were, i mentioned my previous thread:

2) At times touch doesn't work at the first time when you tap on something, be it double tap the screen to wake up or tap any icon.

3) Motion sensor which helps answering the phone by just placing the phone near your ear doesn't work properly, it answers the call sometimes, other time it doesn't.

APART FROM ABOVE ISSUES: Xperia Z3 HEATS UP. I transfered a movie using superbeam, and the device heats up so quickly, that is unbelievable.

I think i should hv visited this site before making my purchase. Spent 45000 bucks, horrible.

All i have to say is SONY must address these hardware/software issues beofre working too hard on making phone water and dust proof.

Are you using a custom ROM? The phone can't overheat

Overheating how? Is it overheating and shutting down? Or are you using it, playing videogames, 4K vvdeos, charging your phone etc?

Something that worked for my was unstalling facebook msn , it made my phone drain battery and heat up.

I'm having the same issues as JK1.

My Xperia Z3 heats up more than normal while performing simple everyday tasks like whatsapp, email, web browsing and facebook...it gets very hot. This needs to be addressed SONY. NOT in the Z4, but through some software patch on the Z3 itself. Fix it before the Lollipop rollout.

Also, the motion sensor to receive calls doesn't always work properly. Its embarrassing to hold the phone up to your ear and it doesn't accept the call.

I'm having heating problems too while playing games , the phone feels rather hot but it does not have any performce issue. I don't know if it will be save though.

Hi, I've only just got the z3, and yes hot. How did everyone get on with there's, Did any ones blow up lol? ..... Dammmm my hands are hot

I have the same problem.It heats up within 5 minutes of using the camera ;/
