Hi,
I am facing a serious issue with Contacts App in Xperia Z2 with Android 4.4.2 and also faced same issue in other sony samrtphones with same android version..
Issue is When we open contacts app for first time after the phone restarts or after a period of time if phone is on to search a contact by tapping search button, it takes around 10-15 seconds time to search a contact.
But if this contacts app is used recently or if you searched second time after first lag, there is no issue in searching contact but issue occurs when you search first contact (Any contact first time).
We invested around 50,000 bucks and still this Sony UI not able to search any contact instantly...
And I am sure this issue is with every Sony Smartphone running Android Kitkat.
I have contacted other Z2 users and they also faced same issue when they tried..
No one noticed it yet and on google also I was not able to find this kind of issue...
Request Sony development team to fix this bug ASAP..
ALSO clearing cache does not works which is only 48 KB...
And I faced this issue even if we have only 10 contacts in our phone..
Please Help and report to sony if you also faces same issue... I am a sony Fanboy but this is not tolerable if some other person notices that a 50,000 bucks phone can't able to search a contact on time when needed....LOL..
