Xperia z2 bent

I have a sony xperia z2 and i have discoverd thats its Got a bend and is not stirght

i never have the phone in my back pocket and its not been droped etc so why has it bent and what can be done to sort this problem out ???

I have however seen them bend before...however, not as bad as the new iPhone 6+ :smileysmileywink:

Sadly, there is not much you can do about this, and more than likely you'll not get a free replacement, sorry.

hmm, were you trying to see if it would bend like the iphone 6+ did? Seems fishy lol

No i heard about the i phone 6 bend and my mate said its not just iphone 6 thats bend his z1 had bent slightly thats when i realise my z2 was bent aswell

I was told if they bend it can be dangerious as the battrey could split and leak and cause a fire

Wow. I tot iphone 6 will bend never know z2 also will bend.

btw, I quite often putting my phone on my back pocket. Dont have any problem.

@Danno1471 - I am sorry to hear about this, however I can only advise you to speak with your local Xperia Care team regarding having an assessment arranged.

My phone is bent too, for some reason it start to bend bit by bit and i am afraid of the accident as well, i filed an request to the sony xperia care team today and do not know when would they get back to me, i do not have my receipt of the purchase though as i cant even find it, i got it from the provider that i used to be with, recently i unlocked my phone and use it on another carrier, hopefully they are able to do something as i have the box with S/N and IMEI

I have a Sony Xperia Z2. I bent over to pick up a piece of litter ourtside my home and the phone snapped in my front pocket.

This is a terrible piece of kit with a massive design flaw in that the SD and Sim ports are aligned across the frame creating a weak point. Sony gave me the option to send it back for checking but having seen the experienceof other users of the phone with similar issues they will simply claim it is damage and then charge you for the priviledge of sending your broken phone back to you.

Having used Sony kit for years this is the first major (and expensive) dissapointment I have had. I wont be buying another.
