xperia z1 headset mic noise problem

Hey!

I don't know if it's always been like this but I just started noticing it, when I talk on my phone without

a headset, I experience no problems,

but as soon as I plug in a headset and make a call I immediatly

get this static background noise and the slightest touch of the microphone or pressing one of the headset

buttons WHILE ON CALL I hear it very loudly in my earbuds.. like if I just move ever so slightly while on call

I can hear the sound of the mic scraping against my clothes a bit too well..

is this normal?  I've tried with 3 different headsets, same thing on all of them

is there a way to lower the volume of my own mic on MY side, without lowering it on the other end?

I would be okey with all this if it's supposed to be like this, it is just a minor issue..

can anyone give me some input ?

OK, the problem fixed itself, I no longer hear the static and the mic isn't overly sensetive anymore.

Hi,

I've been suffering the same headset noise issue for days. I've tested 5 new phones from the dealer and the mic noise problem is still there.

How can you fix that?

Anyone can help?

I think it might be a software problem, I'm not sure if this is what fixed the problem for me, but the last thing I did was

install the "Apex launcher" and used that one instead of "xperia Home", and made sure I didn't use any of the original xperia wallpapers (I have no idea why that would make any difference, but from reading forum posts people say it fixes some problems..)

and haven't had the problem since

Hi.. i just bought a xperia z1 and i have been having a similar problem (i think it is the same)... While i am on a calling with the headset i can hear my own voice as i talk, i mean, i can hear everything is captured by the mic (even noise when mic slashing my clothes)....

I'd be greatful if you tell me the way you fixed the issue..

greetings (from Bogota/Colombia)

Me too.  It is happening for me with headsets that are designed for Apple devices though. I wonder if I use one with just a microphone or an Android phone if it is the same?

Tried an Android headset too. Same issue. It's like the mic is boosted and therefore picks up everything.
