Xperia Z speaker not working

Hi ,

I am expereincing problem with xperia Z speaker , as recently updated with new android and new software update , xperia Z's speaker is not working , its working fine only with head set , if i play any videos without head set it doesnt give any sound , ring tone is working and i cant even hear if any calls answered in the phone.

Pls help me out , i tried repairing and updating the ph again and again , still the issue is same

Hello! My ZR sometimes gives noise instead of my voice to anybody. It can be once per day, several times a day. Rebooting sometimes solves the issue. Every time I go to service it's working fine. I'm tired to find out the cause.

I experienced the complete opposite of you all.

I bought an Xperia Z5 Dual and my speaker is work fine if I make a regular call, but if I want to turn it as a loudspeaker it doesn't make anything. If I put my ear to the phone it starts the loudspeaker for a few seconds, but when I put it on the desk it works in a normal phoning way.

It is a bit annoying, because it's a brand new phone and it is an important and basic function for me.

Just try to contact official Sony support. They might help you with this issue

Having same issue, I need to fix but I've tried the hole headphone thing and it's not worked.

this is second time my ear speaker not working last time i use to little press the ear side for working fine . now again there is no sound in the ear speaker.

for this i play songs by ear phone and remove the cord by directly for three four time now its working fine thanks guys

If there are so many complaints, why don't I see Sony releasing a solution. I spent a lot of my saved money to buy a Sony phone. The loudspeaker volume dropped to less than half. I can barely hear a ring tone or alarms in the morning. Quite frustrating as I can't even afford another phone or repair
