Xperia tablet z not charging

Hi

I've got xperia tablet Z for 15 mon ths it was working prefectly , I went on long vacation away and the battery drained completeley am trying to charge the device , but unfortunatley the device will work for less than a mintue,

am using the original charger kept in charging for more than 12 hours , tried the hard reset by sony pc companion,

any Idea on what can I do, I work on remote area I'll drop the device to sony service center on my next vacation, but i want to try all what i can do till then.

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Have you tried holding down the Power key and the Volume Up key together for 10 seconds, once this has been done put the Tablet on to charge for about an hour and then try power it on.

I've done that , kept it charging til the led turned green that mean above 90% charged and I've turned it on it remained on for less than 40 seconds. I've done the hard reset after that same problem

Have you tried to power on your Tablet Z without SD- and SIM-card (if you have the LTE version) to see if you experience the same behaviour? If the same thing occurs and you also have tried a software repair via PC Companion, you would do best by visiting nearest service center to have your unit examined by a technician.

Yes I did, unfortunately am 500 km away from the nearest city, I'll stay here for two months I want to try any possible solution till then
