Xperia S won't charge, no notification light, battery dead. It's been a month. HELP!

Bought my Xperia S more than a year ago. Had no problems with it at all. Then months ago, when the Jelly Bean was already availble for Xperia S, I updated it through the Sony PC Companion. Then more than a month ago, I was charging my phone since the battery was only 2% when the notification (orange or was it red light) won't lit up. I thought the charger was messing around again ('cause it usually happens with xperia chargers) so I was bending the charger wire like this and that ('cause that usually works) when my phone died. The battery drained and we all know that's a big NO NO when it comes to smartphones with unremovable batteries. Tried pressing and holding the power button, volume down together for hard resetting. But still didn't turn on. Charged it for the whole day (even though the notification light wasn't lighting up). Hopeless, I brought it to the repair shop. The repairman who's really good and very well recommended thought the problem was only the battery so he opened and tried to shock it with voltage or something then placed it back and it turned on. But the problem was, it still won't charge. Tried using different chargers and nothing worked. So I left it at the repair shop thinking he could still find solution to the problem. But still NADA. So yeah. That's my phone's story. BATTERY'S DEAD, WON'T CHARGE AND WON'T TURN ON. HELP.

This is because your phone battery drained completely...

In this case need to boost your phone's battery,

you can take phone to any mobile repair shop, they will do it for free.

Or buy a multi battery charger, and keep charging for 10 to 15 mins, after remove and charge by your original Sony charger and switch on after 30 mins, keep charging until 100%.

In xperia Z there is nodes for dock charging we can use this for boosting with multi battery charger, in X S case i don't know if there is nodes or not, if no u need to take to service centre...

It happened to me once, I plugged in for charge and followed the hard reset procedure. So my advice to you is try hard reset, hopefully this will solve your problem. Slightly_smiling_Face
