xperia s (LT26) connection problem with smart TV

Hi everybody,

I really need urgent help :(. Before the jelly bean update I perfectly use my xperia's hdmi connection with Samsung smart TV. However, after jelly bean, devices do not match. Smart connection does not work well. It automatically restart restart endlessly. Also, TV does not list the files of my phone. Build number of myphone is 6.2.b.0.200. Because of my location which is Turkey, I did not get the lastest update.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

This sounds quite strange. Have you tried to connect the phone to another TV? Do you experience the same behavior?

If you experience the same behavior when connecting to another TV I would recommend that you try connect the phone using another HDMI cable. 

And if you should still experience the same problem I suggest that you first of all repair the phone software using PC Companion:

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone".

Those solutions such as different hdmi cable or different tv are not good ones. I graduated from computer and instructional technology education department and I am very interested in technology and programming such as android, java, visual basıc and C. In my house, most of devices are Sony product such as mp3 player, my old phones (Walkman series), laptop, sound system. I like Sony devices but after those days I will prefer to use other popular company products.

Also, ı tried repair my phone option and it did not work. Samsung forums did not give any response so now ı am partially satisfied with your response.
