xperia e will not recognize memory cards

I've got 2 memory cards that work in literally everything but the phone in which I need one in anyone know how I can solve this problem the phone has never had a memory card in it so there's no chance of Me damaging the slot I've had this phone for around 6 months

After you insert the card,restart the phone.

If you go to settings-storage,at least is the card there?
