Hi In My Xperia C Direct Wi-Fi Don’t Work As When I Connect With My Samsung Phone S5 Direct Wi-Fi Is Connected But No Files Are Being Transferred Or Received And Its Give Error Sending Failed… But If I Use One Direct Wi-Fi App Call Zapya   :- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dewmobile.kuaiya&hl=en  Its Works … Please Help. I Have Updated Software More Than 6 Times & As Well I Have Repaired The Software  Many Times In Sony Service Center… I Have Formatted My Xperia Many Times As Well As I Have Done Clear Caches & ETC All But I Failed Please Help …

Hi,

The phone does support Wi-Fi Direct, but there are no inbuilt application to send and/or receive files. Thereby, you need to download an application to be able to do this which you have done. I don't see anything wrong with this since it's working fine with an application.

As You Said My Phone Don’t Support Direct Wi-Fi Than Why There Is An Option For Direct Wi-Fi. Why Than Sony Have Mention Is Features That There Is Direct Wi-Fi . Its Seems To Be A False Commitment Made ..

I said that your phone do support Wi-Fi direct, which it does. But to be able to send and/or receive files you need an application.

I took the liberty to move your post here since there are several threads regarding this.

To be able to send and/or receive files via Wi-Fi Direct you need to use an application. File Commander is an example of an app that supports this function. So it can depend on which phone you are going to send it to, whether the other phone has an application pre installed or not.
