wifi on sony experia miro.

Just out of the blue my Wifi isnt working on my phone. i know my wifi works in the house as everything is wireless and everything else works, so basically. it will not let me turn the wifi on on my sony xperia miro. it will not let me slide my botton to 'on' and all it says it 'searching for connection' i have tried 'turning it on and off again' multiple times over the last 2 weeks. i have removed everything. cleaned everything, done everything that has been suggested to me and to no avail what so ever. I have watched all the videos there are to watch and **bleep** it there isn't very many but NONE of them were useful. I have even downloaded the sony xperia miro st23 special frikkin care thing and guess what. its a load of poop. This is my first sony ericsson in 8 years and now i remember why i never ever got another one!!!!!!! someone help!!!

Try performing a system repair as this will often fix issues however if that fails then I'd advise that you either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care to have your device inspected http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/  - This will factory reset your phone

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP
