Wi-Fi Direct not working

I have updated my xperia U to ICS 4.0.4

Build 6.1.1.B.1.10

model ST25i

I am unable to send or receive files using wifiDirect

While sending - I dont see wifiDirect option in share 

While receiving - when i try to turn on my wifiDirect from "settings-More-WiFiDirect", the notification shows "WiFi Direct is on touch for settings", but on touch the settings page do not appear. Also unlike other devices when i tap WifiDirect checked i am unable to see other devices

To send and receive files using WiFi Direct you need to install an app for this. The phone doesn't have any preinstalled app to send and receive files using WiFi Direct. Open Google Play and search for WiFi Direct to find different apps that allows this.
