Why does my phone keep defaulting to contacts page ?

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before but when my phone goes into idle mode (or if I switch it off), when I swipe up, it opens the contacts page.

This is a pain as I keep ringing people by mistake....any ideas how to fix...I have an Xperia Z1compact,

Settings > apps > all > smartconnect > clear data > restart the phone

Ok - I see smartconnect.......what will this do if I clear data ??

This will delete any preset settings on the app, which might be causing the problem.

Boot on safe mode and report back

No difference in safe mode either !

Think I'll just have to bring it into a shop....am off on hols tomoroow...thanks for all your help anyway !
