Vibrator varies in strength, apparently correlated to phone temperature

Hi,

the vibrator of my Z1Compact seems a bit week at the moment. It used to be very strong, yet, since recently, especially when the phone gets warm (e.g. because being charged on a computer) it becomes really weak, and gives hardly more than a short  blip. When i repeatedly press the home button in these situations, it gets weaker and weaker and eventually dies, it then comes back after a few minutes of waiting.

To me this seems to be a clear hardware issue, but maybe i"m wrong. Please let me know which steps to take

My Z1 compact has a similar problem. The vibration is always weak.

Just to clarify: it (mine at least) has not always been weak. this happened recently, and in the beginning it used to be very strong
