You could try to disable one but the safest solution would be to repair phone using PC Companion or Bridge for Mac. Please do backup of important data first.
You cant disable one of them and both have notifications ticked. I wouldnt know how to repair the phone with PC Companion.
Also this issue is also on my mother's Z3 Compact which would suggest an fault in the update.

I decided to try a standard factory reset. This has not made the slightest bit of different and interestingly, upon chatting to several people on Google+ I am not the only one whos phone has this issue. I think there is a bug in the Lollipop update for the Z3 Compact.
