trouble updating z2.

Ok i received my z2 today & connected it to my pc via companion app 2.1 & its saying theres a update for it but when i try & update it says i need to download a hotfix from microsoft kb2917929 but when i try & download it says 'The Update is not aplicable to your computer' & when i go to update on phone it says its fully updated though the build version is different mine is something like 17.1.A.2.55 then the new update  im useing windows 8.1 how do i update it?

Try to update with SUS,does the same occur?

Hi there,

I have done the a update i think via sony update service i choose update device & it downloaded a 990mb file but my build version is still 17.1.A.2.55 though now when i go via pc companion it says its up to date with this new update sould it be build version 17.1.1.A.0.402?

Probably the last update is not available for you yet.

I live in australia so i would not be surprised if its not yet, is the update pc download only or can it be done via the phone?

I know some updates can only be done via phone like my old one.

Updates are usually available via PC first and after that OTA ( from the phone).You should contact xperia care for more info:

Still no update on pc or phone when is it coming to australia or is it here & the sus stuffed my phone?
