Hi! I'm April from the Philippines. I had been using my sony Xperia tipo dual since june 2013. Last night I updated my mobile phone with the PC Companion. As it begin to update my phone, it turn it off and continue updating. While updating an information came that I don't have enough memory on my phone then the update is error. Afterthat, I tried turning on my phone but all it does was to turn on the led light for power and vibrate and nothing comes next. It did not start and does not show anything on my phone. I don't know if I can still use it. What do I need to do about it? I can't use it either...
You could try this
connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let the battery charge for 3 hours > repair the phone with PCC > if that doesn't work then you have to contact your local Xperia care

Also note that, when doing this software repair that uliwooly has mentioned in his post the phone should be completely off. You can remove and insert the battery (without trying to power on the phone) to make sure that the phone is off.
