if we want to record a video on full hd in less than a minute it uses 1gb and above so how will we record a full hd video for more than 10 mintues i really dont understand this its like its a useless feature putting a full hd video recording but takes way too much storage is it stupid or its just me thinking that way ?

Read here.It cannot be over 1GB if you record up to 1 minute,but it is recommended to have a large storing place.HD has different data rates.

I recorded a video using the Z1, 5 min, 665 MB, full hd.
